We hear about web wallets and even exchanges being hacked and millions of dollars’ worth of cryptocurrencies being stolen. Online crime is rampant in the cryptocurrency world. A cryptocurrency hardware wallet allows its users to store their cryptocurrencies in an offline, isolated environment where they can’t be hacked or stolen.
Ledger offers two types of hardware wallets – Ledger Nano S and Ledger Blue.
The Ledger Nano S is a USB type wallet with a screen, which means it can even be used on a computer with infected with malware.
The Ledger Blue is the high end version – it is a multi-cryptocurrency wallet that has a touchscreen and can be held in the palm of the hand. It can be connected to your device either by Bluetooth or USB cable.
