Crypto Betting/Gaming Platform MoonRekt Accepts Bitcoin

Hxro Games Inc., the developer of MoonRekt, an innovative trading/gaming platform, recently announced that players will be able to spend bitcoin to play their game.

Hxro is a PvP crypto social gaming platform established in 2018 by co-founders Dan Gunsberg, Rob Levy, Danny Johnson, Lawrence Richardson II, and Greg Zanotti.

Hxro has developed a platform that merges digital currency trading with skill-based social gaming. Its name is a reference to price rises and falls, MOON being a price spike and REKT — a price drop.

The rules of the game are simple. Players make bets trying to predict the price of crypto — whether the price of BTC will rise or fall within the next five minutes.

The team initially allowed users to bet using HXRO, the platform’s native token, worth about 5 cents. Now players will be able to bet using a much more valuable cryptocurrency, bitcoin. This move will open up the platform for more players to get a shot at this game.

The company takes 3% from the pot on both the HXRO and BTC bets on MoonRekt.

Since its launch, MoonRekt has grown from 600 to more than 37,000 registered players across almost 170 countries.

Hxro CEO Dan Gunsberg said the main objective of the team right now is to reach the mainstream audience of crypto and grow even more. In an interview with Coindesk, he said his team plans to eventually add additional tokens as the demand grows. The company also plans on adding new bonuses and rewards for users of HXRO tokens.

The Hxro team has also plans to launch another game called MUHBAGS that will simulate building a trading portfolio. In the new game, players will compete against each other to see who can build the best portfolio.
