Crypto Emporium now accepting Dash among other coins for luxury goods

Crypto Emporium, an online crypto retailer accepting exclusively cryptocurrencies for payments, has begun accepting Dash for payments in addition to Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, Verge, Decred & Ripple. The company cheerfully announced the news on their Twitter account saying, “DASH is supported on CryptoEmporium.eu. We’re proud to announce that DASH has been integrated onto the Crypto Emporium platform with immediate effect.”

Since early 2018, Crypto Emporium has been offering a wide variety of products focusing mainly on luxury items but also selling automobiles, motorbikes, and even property though no property sales for cryptocurrecy have yet taken place. The startup decided to add Dash to the available lineup of payment options after a large number of requests from fans.

According to Stephen Travers, founder of Crypto Emporium, by accepting cryptocurrencies they avoid high fees associated with fiat currency payment systems and enjoy other benefits:

“Cryptocurrency allows us to operate on a truly global scale by avoiding expensive foreign transaction fees or exchange rates. Since our launch in just February of last year, we’ve processed orders from over 20+ different countries, this is a luxury afforded to us only by using international digital assets. Another huge benefit is how we’re often able to save money by eliminating many fees associated with e-commerce and selling over the internet.”

The company reported over the previous 12 months they sold a number of watches, electronic devices, mobile phones, mining equipment, and drones. They’ve also sold a good amount of cryptocurrency merchandise. There has also been a lot of interest from people wanting to sell their properties, however no buyer willing to purchase any yet. The company’s next goal is to change that.

In an interview with Dahs, Mr. Travers explained that Crypto Emporium has decided to expand its offerings to include more than just luxury items in order to adapt to the market.

With this transition they are helping to propel cryptocurrencies to mass adoption while becoming more competitive with traditional retailers which can’t enjoy the cost-saving benefits of exclusively using cryptocurrencies:

“We’ve introducing more and more cost-effective products to CryptoEmporium.eu… We’re slowly transitioning into a general crypto-commerce solution with a genuine price advantage over our high-street competitors.”
