Purchase Property in Turkey With Cryptocurrency From Antalya Homes

Payments with cryptocurrency mean more reliable and faster transactions without losing money during transfers between banks. And if you are selling or buying a real estate property, the fees will quickly accumulate to a considerable amount. A common sight in industries like food, travel, and e-commerce, cryptocurrency has also entered the real estate market.

Observing the trend, Antalya Homes, a real estate agency from Turkey, decided to sell real estate to those who want to use their cryptocurrency funds without the intermediaries. As a result, Antalya Homes accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Ethereum (ETH). The news was made early March 2019.

Bayram Tekce, Chairman of Antalya Homes, indicated that because the housing market in Turkey keeps growing investors choose to move their cryptocurrency investments to a less risky and safer area – real estate.

The company reported selling nine houses in 2018 for Bitcoin.

Antalya Homes created a “Pay with Bitcoin” page on their website with answers to any questions related to purchasing houses with cryptocurrency.

As the Antalya Homes’ website explains, since the value of cryptocurrencies fluctuates quickly the exact amount of cryptocurrency is calculated using the exact stock exchange rates at the time of the payment. Buyers have the option of paying just a percentage with Bitcoin and the rest with fiat currency.

For buyers with cryptocurrency, Antalya Homes offers the opportunity to own a house in Turkey starting from 30K Euros (9 BTC).

Cryptocurrency in the real estate sector has seen a continuous growth in the Middle East. In 2018, over 40,000 properties have been purchased by foreign investors in Turkey, mostly in Antalya, Istanbul, as other coastal regions. That is up by 80% compared to 2017.

Along with Turkey, we observe this trend in the UK, Dubai, many states of the United States of America (Delaware, California, and Florida, for instance) where businesses have started buying and selling the property with Bitcoin and other digital currencies.
